How ChatGPT ruined cold outreach
Today, with <100$ anyone can find 500 people, create a sequence, write copy in 2 mins, and send the campaign.
More emails + bad quality = less results.
I was always a fan of strategic outreach, but now I think it’s more needed than ever.
My advice is to keep doing outreach, but incorporate the dream 100 strategy:
1. Build your dream 100 clients list
2. Craft an “intent-based customer journey”
3. Use a CRM to monitor each account from the list
4. Build a “semi-automated” scoring system
5. Trigger emails based on intent
Hyper-personalisation + strategic emails + good quality = amazing results.
If you ask yourself if strategic outreach is harder than basic cold outreach, be sure it is.
But that question is wrong because it’s correlated only with effort, not results.
Better ask yourself which one will bring more results.
