How successful can marketing strategies be without a brand strategy?

Marketing strategy, brand strategy, growth strategy… a lot of terms sometimes used interchangeably.

But each one has their job.

For me, the growth strategy is the “biggest one” because it should incorporate the brand strategy and marketing strategy too.

Simply because to grow… you need both.

A marketing strategy can be successful without a brand strategy until a point.

Anyway, it depends on how we define success, but what I can assure you is that it will never reach the maximum.

The reason for this is the fact that a brand strategy creates the reason why people should buy from you.

A marketing strategy creates the ways your offerings reach those people.

If there is no clear reason why people should buy? Then expect longer sales cycles and lower conversion rates.

If you define the results you get using this approach as “success”, then yes, maybe the marketing strategy will be successful.

But as I said, it will never reach its true potential and in the end, you’re just slowing down your growth.

That’s why a part of the value proposition we have at Demand Hive is “increase revenue”.

Because since as part of our growth strategy we build the brand strategy too, that’s inevitable.

My suggestion is to build your brand strategy and make sure your efforts pay off the maximum they can.
