How to get more clients in weeks with an Onboarding Offer
First thing first, I want to say that the Onboarding Offer isn’t really an offer. It’s more “a level” of the core thing you’re selling.
Ideally, this is how the whole thing should look like:
You have a High-Demand Offer™ with 4 different levels:
– Onboarding
– Main
– Lite
– Enhanced
Today we’ll focus on the first one. I wanted to mention this because I don’t want you to believe you need 5, 10, or 20 different offers.
1 High-Demand Offer™ with 4 different levels where you can sell anything you want. This is what your business needs.
Now, I want you to understand “the problem” and “the concept”.
The problem is that every time you want to sell something, you create friction. The higher the friction is, the harder it gets to generate leads and clients.
The concept is to find a way to reduce friction while increasing the demand for your offer.
The job of the Onboarding Offer is to reduce the friction as much as possible so getting a “YES” from a potential client becomes a piece of cake.
To make this happen, you need to answer the following question:
How can I deliver the maximum amount of value with the lowest friction possible?
And at a fair price for you and the client, of course.
I’ll give as an example my business, Demand Hive, to make everything easier.
If I were to sell you a 6-month package including creating your High-Demand Offer™, helping with implementation, and selling, I would create a lot of friction.
– You will start to think about the effort
– You will start to think if it’s the right decision
– You will start to think if it is worth the money
– You will start to think about a lot
Instead of doing that, I use an Onboarding Offer to get more leads and clients. And my Onboarding Offer is a €100 workshop.
That’s how I can deliver the maximum amount of value with the lowest friction possible.
I simply show people how this framework applies to their business and I sketch their offers.
The effort from their side is low. The value they get is high. They don’t have to think about lots of things. The friction is low.
And all these things lead to more clients because it’s 10x times easier for them to say “YES”.
Then since the value of the €100 workshop is high, it increases the demand of my other levels: Main, Lite, and Enhanced.
I don’t try to sell them a box of 30 apples if they don’t truly want that. Because again, friction:
– Are they good?
– Do they spoil in 3 days?
This is friction.
Instead, I let them buy 1 apple to convince them how good they are. Then, I sell them 5 apples to make sure they don’t spoil in 3 days.
And then I can sell whatever box of apples I want because I made friction almost disappear.
Now, I showed you both the “apples example” and my business.
For your business, the Onboarding Offer can be anything. Don’t think it has to be a workshop, or something worth €100.
It depends on who your clients are, what problems they have, what is the core thing you’re selling, and so on.
But in any case, don’t sleep on this.
A good Onboarding Offer will get more clients from your marketing and sales efforts in weeks.
That’s because it simply makes sense. That’s how we live and buy things. It makes everything feel like “I’ll be stupid saying no to this”.
If you want to apply this to your business, I just opened 2 slots for the 1:1 workshop with extra support in November.
I’ll help you understand exactly how to implement this to get more clients and I’ll also sketch your High-Demand Offer™ with all the 4 levels.
And yes, you’ll get all of these for just €100. Send me an email to yes@wearedemandhive.com if you’re in for this and want to secure your spot.
I’ll then send more details.
